Privacy statement

The short version: we ask only for what we need to give you an environment and to get in touch. We sell nothing on, we do not follow you around, and there are no trackers on this site.

Last updated: 13 September 2026.

Who is responsible

Oifis is a product of [[bedrijfsnaam]], registered at [[adres]], Chamber of Commerce [[kvk-nummer]]. Questions about your details go to [[e-mailadres]].

What we ask when you request a trial

Your name, your company and your work e-mail address. Those three are required: without a name we do not know who you are, the company name becomes the name of your environment, and the invitation with which you choose your own password goes to the e-mail address. Your telephone number and your note are optional and only help us make the first conversation useful. We also keep the parts you ticked; they tell us where to start when we get in touch.

We use those details to set the environment up, to send you the invitation and to contact you about your request. Nothing else. Filling in this form does not sign you up for a newsletter.

What we base this on

You fill in the form yourself and ask us to do something. On that basis we process your details to take steps at your request before a possible agreement (article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and for the follow-up afterwards on the basis of our legitimate interest in being able to answer a request (article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long we keep it

A request that leads nowhere — you drop out, or we refuse it — is cleared away along with the contact details within six months. If you become a customer, your details belong to the customer records and the retention periods for those apply; the tax retention obligation is seven years. If you want out earlier, you can simply ask.

What happens to what you put in the trial environment

Your trial environment is yours and stands apart from everybody else's. What you enter in it — made-up customers, tasks, hours — we do not use and do not look at, except when you ask us for help and we have to look at something to be able to help you. On the end date the environment is switched off and those details can no longer be reached. So put nothing in it that you need to keep, and certainly no real personal data belonging to other people: a trial environment is not the place to practise with your employer's customer list.

Who else sees it

Nobody who does not need to. We sell or rent your details to no one. What it does take to make this work:

  • The server Oifis runs on. It stands in the Netherlands; your data does not leave the EU.
  • The service we send e-mail with, for the invitation and the messages about your trial.
  • Our own bookkeeping, once you become a customer and there is an invoice.

Beyond that, only where the law obliges us.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, no advertising networks and no trackers. There is therefore no cookie notice either: it would be about nothing. The programme itself carries one cookie, which keeps track of the fact that you are signed in — without it you cannot sign in.

Your rights

You may ask which details we hold about you, have them corrected, have them deleted, have the processing restricted, receive them in a readable file, and object to processing based on our legitimate interest. One e-mail to [[e-mailadres]] is enough; we answer within a month. If we cannot work it out together, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

If this changes

Then the new version stands here, with a new date at the top. We do not send a message round for a wording change; if something material changes about what we do with your details, we will say so.
